Strategic HR Partner

Job Description

Duties include:
Help shape business strategy
Work collaboratively and strategically with the business to help them achieve success
Operate as an internal business consultant
Broker capabilities from the Group’s HR Community of Expertise (e.g. Reward, HR Tech, Learning, Talent and People Services) to deliver agile and effective people solutions
Engage appropriate areas of expertise in HR to implement people solutions
Manage functional headcount budgets ensuring all headcount modelling, forecasting and actuals are managed and executed accurately
Partner with the Group’s wider Community of Expertise for the implementation of people solutions. e.g. Tax, Legal, Internal Audit
Understand industry trends and anticipate the impact on the workforce
Design and drive workforce plans to meet the Group’s business strategy
Utilise deep understanding of the online commerce business model, with strong knowledge of gaming agenda
Drive informed decision making by using data to identify trends; work with business leaders to determine root cause of issues; develop organisational effectiveness solutions
Identify and make recommendations on potential coaching opportunities on an individual, team and leadership basis
Partner with senior leadership and recruiting to develop workforce plans and staffing models that support business objectives and advance the business and functions (talent acquisition, onboarding, development, talent movement)
Support the implementation of structures and strategies to improve individual and organisational performance
Advance diversity and inclusion efforts for the business by driving the organisation’s diversity plan and leading implementation plans
Demonstrated ability to drive human resource strategies and programs in a complex environment at the most senior levels of an organisation
Work well across different functions and locations, understanding the importance of remote teams

Skills and experience required:
Experience working with high-tech organisations
Experience working with global teams, and driving organisational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organisation
Highly analytical ensuring that the organisation rigorously measures and analyses the right things to drive success
Known for high judgment and proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative
Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions to integrate HR and business strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills
Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams
