Senior Manager – Business Development, Aviation

Job Description

Duties include:
Assuming responsibility for yachting new business targets
Working with the Head of Business Development and Yachting Director to create, implement and manage an appropriate yachting strategy to achieve targets and continually review, adapt and improve the strategy
Implementing the agreed intermediary visit/calling programme within the yachting strategy and managing this accordingly
Working closely with various new business take-on teams to ensure all yachting proposals issued are fit for purpose
Utilising own existing contact base and the wider group contact base to generate new revenues
Assisting with the development of new products and services for yachting within the group
Raising awareness of the brand within the global markets as well as identifying and developing new markets for yachting services within the group
Travelling frequently to work in other offices in different countries and jurisdictions, as well as attending various industry events, acting as lead where appropriate

Skills and experience required:
A minimum of 5 years’ industry relevant experience
Extensive working knowledge of trust and corporate services
A network of contacts relevant to the role
Previous business development experience

Desirable experience and qualifications:
An understanding of EU VAT for yachts
An understanding of the various yacht registries available
An understanding of crewing and social security requirements
Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. STEP, ICSA)
