Senior Compliance Manager

Job Description

Duties include:
Oversee the Compliance function, including teams dealing with AML/CFT compliance and Compliance monitoring
Draft and revise policies and procedures and ensure the compliance framework is regularly reviewed and consistent with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Interact with the FSA, law enforcement agencies and other external authorities
Monitor, analyse and communicate new regulatory developments and legislation that affect the business and operation of the Group
Assist with staff training programs
Take on relevant Controlled Functions
Other ad hoc duties including due diligence on acquisitions

Skills and experience required:
A thorough understanding of the sectors in which the Group operates and the applicable regulatory framework. Experience of working in a funds environment would be particularly useful
The ability and experience to take overall responsibility for implementation and maintenance of the compliance framework, policy and procedures
Personal strengths of confidence, motivation and a proactive, initiative-taking mindset
Strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership and interpersonal skills and strong values of ethics and integrity
Experienced Data Protection Officer
A degree, recognised professional qualification and/or qualifications within Compliance
The maturity and experience to demonstrate independence and impartiality
