Risk Control Executive

Job Description

A top brand Isle of Man eGaming licence holder with a rich history and excellent infrastructure is seeking a Risk Control Executive.

Duties include:
Mitigate risk and fraud loss to ensure the safety of the company and its customers from legal and financial risk while protecting the business from abuse. Ability to identify and handle fraudulent or unprofitable accounts
Review fraud notification from traders or affiliate team, to improve their fraud algorithm to minimise fraudsters from being able to continue operation while minimising impact to legitimate players. Raise identify solutions for unprofitable accounts
Conduct regular audits to ensure they are catching new fraud opportunities while understanding the impact prior fraud initiatives are having on the business
Deliver professional and accurate customer and client customer service; including contact handling/incident handling for internal and external business partners
Maintaining a variety of reports/processes and undertaking analysis to investigate potential fraudulent behavior to take appropriate actions
Point of escalation regarding all contact centre fraud & risk activity. Perform investigation on possible fraud players through fraud check completion. Identify player’s activity through deposit, gameplay and withdrawal pattern
Maintain a prioritised list of risks for the business and provide insights monthly to senior business leaders to ensure awareness and action toward remediation. Participate in initiatives that will improve risk management practices
Actively keep up to date with current risk related processes and regulations within the gaming industry as well as the fraud and risk areas as necessary
Assist in managing chargeback levels
Meet department KPIs. Guarantee that all target metrics set are met and achieved

Skills and experience required:
Experience in the gaming industry with a contact centre focus will be preferred
Proven experience identifying fraud avenues and mitigation strategies
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Must be able to converse, read and communicate in Mandarin (pinyin)
Strong analysis, communication, organisational and decision-making skills
Meticulous detail oriented and thorough
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to effectively present information and clearly respond to queries from different departments
Excellent communication and soft skills
Ability to work independently and deliver under pressure
Professional attitude towards the business, service oriented, team player
Able to cover 24/7 operation as will need to work 5 days a week on shift rotation during night shift, weekends and public holidays
