Relationship Manager

Job Description

Duties include:
Vet new applications and liaise with sales team or BDM/AD to obtain any outstanding requirements to enable the successful on boarding of new contractors
Complete client documentation and record accordingly, ensuring all KYC documents are compliant and stored correctly
Deal with inbound telephone and email queries from contractors and agencies in the UK
In the absence of the Team Manager, provide direct support to ensure all work is allocated, processed and reported within usual timescales
Proactively make outbound welcome calls to contractors, as well as contribute to the development of an ongoing contact strategy for 1st time/variable/non-billers
Proactively make outbound calls to contractors at contract renewal/expiry, to ensure client satisfaction and continued use of services
Identify any potential sales opportunities and share with sales team
Handle any written or verbal complaints received, ensuring a thorough investigation and resolution is achieved
Assist in maintaining up to date operating procedures for all Client Services processes

Skills and experience required:
Ability to proactively manage internal and external customers
Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
Good understanding of the UK payroll industry, procedures and related legislation (minimum 2 years)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Will have gravitas and a successful track record of building and maintaining long-term relationships
Honest, discrete, positive and trustworthy
Organised with a structured approach to work
A high level of computer literacy is required, including Outlook and MS Office
Proven experience of problem solving and analytical skills
