QA Specialist – Social Casino Test Lead

Job Description

Duties include:
Work closely with product managers and developers to assess resource commitments and timescales ensuring features can be delivered in the available timeline
Distribute the workload of fellow QA testers allocated to the Social Casino products
Author and keep up to date the Social Casino testware documentation (Master Test Plans, Risk Logs and reporting metrics)
Improve the current processes, mitigate risks, and pre-empt environmental and functional requirements
Ensure that all the Quality Assurance Team’s standards and working practices are applied to the Social Casino’s suite of products
Analyse project documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of business and technical requirements
Author test plans and liaise with the project stakeholders for review and feedback before publishing in readiness for commencing testing
Identify the test conditions, then design and author relevant test scenarios and test cases which will effectively exercise the software under test
Configure the test environments in readiness for the execution and care for the integrity of the environment
Execute the agreed set of test cases, in line with the Test Plan and development project schedule, clearly and accurately reporting test results and progress
Retesting bugs when the fix is committed to the affected environment, and provide sign-off or remedial action recommendations on behalf of QA
Support the business in the execution of UAT activities
Develop and maintain healthy collaborative relationships with other parts of the business and colleagues
Provide balanced information to the project management so that informed decisions can be made

Skills and experience required:
Experience with Software Testing
Experience testing mobile applications
Experience with JIRA and test management tools
Already hold or be studying towards the ISTB Foundation in Software Testing

Experience with Casino and Poker as user (at minimum) would be advantageous
Experience of working with remote teams in different time zones
