PMO Portfolio Analyst

Job Description

Duties include:
Oversee the portfolio of organisational projects
Providing expert project knowledge and support, monitoring progress and reporting on the portfolio status
Additional responsibilities include assisting the Head of PMO with defining and updating the project management processes, standards and governance; the development, introduction and on-going iteration of the organisations demand management methodology and undertaking Quality Reviews

Skills and experience required:
Proven PMO/Project Analyst experience and knowledge of project management
Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support perspective
Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment
Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent attention to detail and able to produce high quality analytical outputs
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build strong relationships with people at all levels
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
