Our client is seeking an administrator to assist the IOM Pension team in their day to day administration. The successful candidate will have a thirst to learn, commitment to make a difference and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Assist and work collaboratively with the Pension Team on day-to-day administrative tasks and matters in respect of new and existing members of the Pension schemes.
Deliver the highest level of client service, exceeding client expectations.
Ensure effective and efficient client correspondence in a timely manner.
Ensure client procedures are followed at all times.
Develop an understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
Represent the cultural values of the business in all aspects of day-to-day work.
Review of new application packs.
Dealing with client enquiries.
Drafting of minutes for trustee approval.
Liaising with ceding scheme providers.
Logging all client related work via file note system.
Bookkeeping of receipts and payments into Viewpoint.
Completion of investment documentation.
Liaising and working with introducers.
Processing of account opening forms in relation to external managed and custodians.
Overseeing/checking data in reports to introducers.
Providing input and views to improve systems and processes.
Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by your line manager/team leader from time to time.
Skills and experience required:
Minimum 2 year experience in an administration role.
The ability to deliver excellent client service communication, skills, both verbal and written.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail with commitment to learning in a fast paced environment.
A working knowledge of the following systems: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively with minimal supervision.
Ability to work using own initiative with a sense of responsibility and discretion.
Able to act on and use own initiative.
Good team player with an enthusiastic, positive and flexible approach.
