IT Endpoint Engineer

Job Description

Duties include:
Delivering the platforms and systems required to support modern enterprise user environments
Emphasis will be placed on improving ways-of-working by leveraging automation and self-service solutions to empower staff and accelerate IT service delivery across the group companies
Responsible for the physical and virtual desktop image provisioning
Provide tooling to support IT and business operations
Perform software validation and packaging
Act as endpoint governance
Responsible for endpoint security and patching; incident and request management; project, process and task management Create, review and distribute documentation
IT Ops team provides 24/7 IT support and on this position, you will cover out-of-hours escalation and maintenance duties
Have the opportunity to travel and visit other exciting office locations

Skills and experience required:
Have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong technical competency with Microsoft desktop OS and SCCM
Experienced in packaging software for managed deployments; administering Microsoft Azure and O365 offerings
Have working knowledge of desktop and application virtualisation technologies
Prioritise and work within tight time scales to meet deadlines
Have strong service skills and excellent customer facing attitude
Have proven experience supporting users in a fast-paced and agile environment
A strong multi-tasker and team player
Have experience working with MDM solutions, JIRA and Atlassian products
