Internal Security Analyst

Job Description

Duties include:
Complete thorough and methodical continuous monitoring of internal financial and gaming system transactions and staff activity using prescribed tools and methodology, (note this includes partial weekend/public holiday cover on a rostered or ad hoc needs basis)
Undertake thorough and careful investigations and tests of transactions, postings, and other account changes in Group systems, documenting findings and results in team logs for external review
Learn functions and reports in back office gaming software, contribute to enhancement of team procedures and duties
Undertake administrative assistance, database cleansing, record checks etc.
Liaise promptly with operational staff and/or managers around the business where applicable to understand and justify staff’s activities or transactions in systems and business
Assist on internal security project execution and investigations

Skills and experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or IT
Advanced IT skills (advanced excel, reporting, databases, data interrogation)
A good understanding of online gaming transactions, promotions, systems, and procedures, and related impropriety risks
Ability to create, develop and maintain informational and workflow databases to enhance the efficiency of the team’s activities through automation of manual tasks
Able to cross reference and quickly interpret a multitude of information to aid decision making
Highest integrity, honesty, confidentiality, common-sense and self-awareness
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage own workloads and prioritise important tasks
Self-motivated, able to work equally well within a team or alone
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Able to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality of output

Experience and/or qualifications in fraud prevention or monitoring, or related activities
Internal investigations experience and a logical approach to work including good attention to detail
Experience of dealing with customers and stakeholders in a large environment
