A new and exciting position has become available for a Director of Human Resources.
Our client is looking for the Director of Human Resources to report, lead and develop the team. You’ll be reporting to senior management on all related subjects and provide advice on corporate risks, in respect of issues relating to Human Resources Management.
As the Director of Human Resources, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
To ensure full business regulatory compliance and adhering for the HR function to relevant statutory legislation
Develop and implement the HR strategy within the Group
To ensure the HR function works within the company ethos – safe, caring, effective, responsive and well-lead
Act as Data Controller for all retained data and within boundaries within current data legislation
Manage, lead and motivate the team as well as internal recruitment
Communicate and implement all HR policies and procedures throughout the company and update with necessary legislation changes
Ownership of recruitment process
Advising senior management on current employment law and best practice
Managing employee relations issues including grievance, contracts, disciplinary matters and performance improvement plans to ensure successful outcomes
Advice on training and development programmes
Report and Manage staff attendance levels, implement strategies to reduce absence and promote employee well-being and experience
Work closely with external stakeholders to develop the HR function
