Job Description

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Duties include:
Lead a team of Business Partners across several jurisdictions delivering an effective partnering model focusing on successful output
Ensure Business Partners act as coaches, trusted advisors, knowledgeable experts, influencers and demonstrate sound judgement
Continuously focus the team on capability building to support business leaders in achieving success through their people
Provide a HR lead L&D program that ensures Line Managers are self-sufficient and confident when presented with challenging people scenarios
Ensure the team deliver on the transactional element of the service to a high quality and in a timely manner
Oversee and direct on people processes, ensuring consistency and alignment with both business and compliance needs
Deliver on change management programmes and restructures within the business across several jurisdictions
Analyse the laws that regulate those jurisdictions, ensuring our Client is compliant in their practices. Have an understanding how they can manoeuvre local legislation to be as consistent as possible across the Group
Collaborate with Business Leaders to anticipate and plan for potential people challenges and give guidance on best practice
Partner with the talent team; driving the talent agenda throughout the organisation. Lead succession planning and talent mapping to ensure business functions are thinking ahead and future proofing
Work closely with the Senior People Services Leadership team to create, implement and execute specific people related projects at a functional and jurisdictional level to assist the business achieve its overall goals
Review the People Strategy for the business; working with Senior Business Partners to ensure it is transferable to their location
Have a handle on engagement levels across jurisdictions, work on creative action plans and approaches to enhance these
Review HR metrics with Senior Business Partners that can be used by the team when consulting with business functions
Review attrition rates per jurisdiction, use data collated to get to the root cause of exits from the business and how they can enhance their retention rates
As the business drives the agenda on Diversity and Inclusion ensure the team understand the part they play in creating an inclusive and diverse culture
Adapt the team to the needs of the business as it evolves to achieve competitive advantage

Skills and experience required:
Experience that clearly shows progression in HR from day to day operations to thinking strategically and working across multiple jurisdictions on complex projects
Has a clear understanding of the partnering and transactional role of HR; how they work together and where they add value to the business
Demonstrates leadership qualities; is clear on their agenda, knows the ambition they have for the function, sets high standards and delivers on their promises
Has developed a team, ensuring they work collaboratively, sought opportunities for them to succeed and motivated them to achieve
Proven ability to have a deep understanding of the internal capabilities of your team and how you can leverage from them
An ability to work autonomously and make decisions
Solutions orientated, innovative problem solver
Deep experience managing employee relations issues
Has acted as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in the past; proactively identifying people priorities and challenges on their agenda
Can demonstrate influential capability at all levels and input to key decisions
Delivered on key projects for the business that changed how the business works with HR
Has used key HR metrics to support the organisation in decision making and measuring the success of the function
Proven ability to act as both a coach and mentor
Capable of adapting to any situation especially in ambiguous scenarios
Ability to travel 20% of the time across multiple locations
