Financial Reporting Accounts Supervisor

Job Description

Duties include:
Supervise the preparation of the monthly/quarterly management accounts for a number of Group Companies and preparation of annual statutory accounts
Provide technical Accounting guidance and work direction to team members in order to ensure work is carried out efficiently and effectively
Preparation of monthly IFRS submissions to the Group Head Office
Provide business insight and commentary for financial reports
Supporting the finance department, including current projects

Skills and experience required:
Significant experience within a financial reporting role (experience of preparing consolidated accounts desirable)
Should be working towards a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
Strong PC skills including working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access
Previous experience working with SAP or similar accounting package
Previous experience of supervising/managing
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
An ability to prioritise tasks and deliver results within tight deadlines
An ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
