Compliance Assistant / DMLRO

Job Description

Duties include:
· Responsible for day-to-day compliance administration of a number of companies
· Assisting with AML/CFT administration in the compliance department
· Ad-hoc project work
· Provide cover for the Compliance Manager/MLRO during their absence
· Review of CDD/EDD
· Sign-off new applications
· Undertake ongoing monitoring
· Preparation of monthly reports
· Assist with delivery of AML/CFT training

Skills and experience required:
· Professional qualification preferred
· Must have a good understanding of AML/CFT legislation and regulation
· Must be able to work on own initiative to achieve desired results
· Able to undertake own research to deal with problems that arise
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with suppliers and internal staff effectively
· Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
· Computer literacy essential
· Creative approach to problem solving necessary
· Ability to develop new ideas
· Good team player with ability to manage team
· Flexible and adaptable approach to work
· Must have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
