Commercial Analyst

Job Description

Duties include:
Drive forward revenue stability, unify billing management, be a custodian of circuits and voice tariff management focusing on initial inbound tariff rate management and key billing outputs for the voice billing aiding the margin analysis, inbound rate cards, outbound billing tariff management
Improve the customer experience and customer retention with accurate billing and reduce administrative wastage and revenue leakage. Working closely with key stakeholders to support new initiatives and drive commercial/procurement value, commercial offering for the business. The key focus will be to unify the profit and loss position for Circuits & Voice traffic whilst aligning customer and B2B contracts where applicable for voice billing activity
Provide the focus lead for budget management, helping to build a reliable and accurate budget working with key stakeholders and in specific the Head of Procurement
Support 3rd party billing platform inputs and improve processes and customer journey/experience, whilst supporting and updating the relevant online portals and or billing apps financials. You will also provide day to day support for other key Procurement functions as reasonably required
Act as the defining Billing process & systems for both Circuit and Voice, managing 3rd Party Vendor Management/Support for Tariff Management
Supporting Commercial/ Sales function with billing tariff queries
Reconciling outbound billing and managing the online portals
Manage and report upon the Budget
Supporting the Head of Procurement
Cross trained for other Procurement activities enabling a broader level of skill sets and capabilities

Skills and experience required:
Good educational qualifications and at least five years business experience
Excellent numerical skills – probably evidenced with a high degree of academic success in mathematics
Experience of Billing and Billing Platforms – particularly in a telecommunication (voice & circuit) environment
A real team ethos, with exceptional interpersonal skills
Great communication skills and the ability to co-ordinate with others
Knowledge of MS applications, business and IT systems
An ability to absorb complex information and to apply (and design) processes and systems
Ability to manage deadlines in a rapidly developing environment
