Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant

Job Description

Duties include:
Provide assistance for some aspects of the provision of monthly management accounts
Monitor aged debtors and credit control
Bill annual retainers
Prepare WIP reports for billing
Quarterly billing and any ad hoc bills required
Post internal banking transactions to Sage
Internal bank reconciliations
Bank reconciliations for managed trusts (regulatory requirement)
Client bookkeeping as required
Ad hoc work as required

Skills and experience required:
Strong management and organisational skills
Good experience on reconciliations
Experience with Sage Accounting would be an advantage
A good knowledge of Excel
Working towards a relevant qualification would be beneficial
