Assistant Management Accountant

Job Description

Duties include:
Completion of daily bank reconciliations
Preparation of VAT returns
Preparation of weekly payment runs
Processing of staff expenses
Assisting with month-end balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with commission payments
Assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts
Assisting with the preparation of Financial Statements and supporting schedules
Other Adhoc duties when required

Skills and experience required:
Minimum of 2 years working within a Finance department
Must be able to work on own initiative to achieve desired results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with suppliers and internal staff effectively
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Computer literacy essential
Creative approach to problem solving necessary
Good team player
Flexible and adaptable approach to work
Good organisation skills essential
Ability to develop new ideas
Training towards a professional qualification
