Job Description

Duties include:
Take ownership of management and maintenance of the hardware supporting hosting environments. Set-up, manage and improve hardware maintenance procedures and controls
Set-up, manage and improve VMWare monitoring and housekeeping procedures and controls. Assist in completion, documentation, and ongoing management of ADFS based SSO project
Take an integral part of design and implementation of new customer requirements for both on-prem and hosted solutions
Encourage open communication between company members, suggesting and driving forward ideas about how functions can work more effectively together
Customer focused, priority management, time management, with strong communication
Remain aware of new product developments, providing input and tactical direction to the business in terms of development in infrastructure and hosting services
Liaison with the internal functions including sales, cyber security, and support desk
Ensure high quality, up-to-date documentation exists for infrastructure and hosting environments. Ensure test labs are maintained to agreed standards and all relevant testing is documented
Able to juggle priorities to meet deadlines, thrive under pressure, and follow up on and take responsibility for unresolved issues or escalations
Able to develop effective relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with outsource partners and vendors/suppliers

Skills and experience required:
Strong familiarity with Active Directory multi-domain environments, and Hosting technologies and solutions
MCSE + 5-10 years’ experience including hardware, hypervisor, OS layers, and network layers within a multi- tenant environment
Implementation and support of Exchange 2016, Sharepoint, and MSSQL
A strong understanding of networking topologies and design, TCP/IP, DNS, and Powershell
Experienced with ESXi, VMWare, vSAN, Windows, and AD services within an IT service delivery environment working towards iso27001 compatibility
