Mankind Festival 2018

A new, fun-filled, one-day festival will take place on Sunday 15th July 2018 at Silly Moos campsite in Ramsey on the Isle of Man.

The festival, hosted and organised by Georgie Revill of the Cook Shack IOM, is exclusive for all those with physical disabilities, learning differences, their families, and carers.

Georgie has been inundated with offers of help and support for the festival, following a post in the Timebank IOM Facebook page.

Plans for the festival are well underway, with involvement so far from Peggy & Mills, Flo the Coffee Van, lewislewis, Greystone LLC, The Community Farm and a host of others.

Any further offers of assistance and/or fundraising would be gratefully received and will ensure this event is an incredible day to remember for so many.

The festival will include live music, with over 15 bands confirmed to play on the day, and a number of different food outlets are on the bill. There will also be numerous activities, therapy tents and information available on the day.

More details, including ticketing details, to follow over the coming weeks. In the meantime, head to Facebook and give ‘MannKind Festival’ a like to be kept up-to-date.
